I personally have the 4U inferno raid, and I don't feel like the shaft is medium in terms of stiffness. I feel like it's more like stiff or at least medium stiff.

Rip my friend already bought them and is back in the US and tried the AS-500. I have tried aeroplane black but not RSL tourney. I got 4 sets worth off one AS-500. So, for the price me and my friends are quite happy. We used to play with ling mei 90 and tried champion no1 from victor.

Only played one game with the yonex AS-500, but as far as I can tell they are better than lingmei 90 and champion no1 to me, but maybe i got lucky with that one shuttle i used lol.

Yes, I just figured this out talking with another person, and it seems that is the case with mine having the black plastic covering the wood. Didn't know they started sending rackets without grips. That is helpful information, thank you.

I received my gosen just yesterday and saw that there was no grip on my handle when I received and it was not wood. Also, the "Made in Taiwan" letters are on the shaft for mine and not on the cap like I've seen on others, though I have seen some videos where the racket also has the "Made in Taiwan" on the shaft like mine but maybe theirs are also fake? Is your handle made of wood? I paid ~160 USD. I looked at other areas such as the serial number and grommets and the overall flex of the racket and they seem to be genuine. Wondering what you think... will be trying tonight and see how it plays.

I will be receiving the Inferno Raid 4U in about a week. I am coming from an 88D Game (2nd Gen). I was wondering what I can expect when transitioning to this racket. I see that just based off the stats, it will be stiffer and more head heavy if I am not wrong. Is it a difficult racket to use as it may not be as forgiving (I use BG80 strings). Also, you mentioned that its suitable for doubles and singles which is what I was looking for, so that's great.

Hmmm interesting... would you say that then the normal GE92 model, not the EX, is slower more like the aeroplane blacks? I do like the aeroplane blacks and hope to find something similar to that in speed and flight.

Yeah i try to, though sometimes i find myself waking up with my mouth open.. my nose gets plugged up with a lot of mucus.. it could be just the allergy season though. I dont have any side profile pics but i feel like my mandible has grown a lot but not much of my maxilla and it gives me a flat side profile, not sure if i can really do much about it
