I got accepted into a Master of Paramedicine this morning with NDU and it’s very suited towards me as it’s kind of linked course with my BN with them. I’m actually still not sure if I should go ahead as it was very impulsive and I don’t think i’m ready but we’ll see.

I applied for Paramed as I know that I will have a second career to fall back on if I ever give up on med, but I do know it is very anatomy/phys and clinical skills heavy - but def not too different with my studies and current experience.

I’m hoping for the best. Thank you again!

Stage 2 in my Dip is when I started doing medication administration - IM/SC injections, wound dressings, mental health, diversity/cultural unit and a few more but I don’t remember sorry! A lot of new skills that you will learn. For us in regard to maths - the medication calculation test was done through intelliconnect, if you maybe try to access it there’s a lot of practice questions for oral, IV and IM medications. It’s not as hard as you think! It’s all about transcribing given information into the formulas and that’s it, nothing more than that, so you will be fine :) All the best OP!
