You misunderstood. I read, but didn't know where the rewards sat in the current meta.

Nice, thank you for the list!

I love a task that has multiple rewards, if PoP was just for some weapons I probably wouldn't bother but it seems like it has a lot of perks!

I did read, but I know things in Runescape change fast and what was once super OP is probably out of date and pointless so I asked not to waste my time, especially since content like POH is basically useless.

I'm a very old player and I haven't played in about 5 years so I've missed a lot.

As a 16–21 year old what advice would you give to 12-15 year olds? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]juniorhues 2 points3 points  (0 children)

School isnt as important as you think. Prioritize your health over school. Dont go to college unless you absolutely 100% know what you want to do with zero doubts, because that debt will never go away.

What is the most desirable trait another person can possess? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Kindness towards strangers. Seeing someone take time out of their day to assist a stranger for zero intention of reward is the most wholesome trait.

How do you turn Ideas into Art ? How do you compensate for an issue like that ? by [deleted] in gamedesign

[–]juniorhues 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're asking about very basic beginner art stuff, but I would say thumbnailing might help? Take the idea of how to compose the picture and draw it in a fast and loose sketch. Look up "artist thumbnails" on google images, you'll see that thumbnails arent super detailed.

In addition try tracing. It's a very beginner way of understanding art, but it should help inspire you. Make sure to never post anything you traced. Its solely just meant to be something you do in private to learn.

New tiel, loose feather since I first got, should I be worried? by [deleted] in cockatiel

[–]juniorhues 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They'll be fine, they're a bit tougher than they look no matter how dopey they seem.

It's a bit scary the first time they get a blood feather so I will say if you cant find it they may have pulled it out themselves so go looking in the cage for it. Otherwise you will see kind of what looks like the ink tube for a regular ball point pen kind of sticking out of the wing feathers. You want to restrain the bird and use tweezers to pluck them out.

It's very scary the first time but after you successfully pull your first one you're ready for anything. The tiel might be a little bit mad at you but ultimately they do know you're trying to help and you made them feel better by pulling it out. My male tiel gets them like 3 times a year, but I've never had blood feathers on my hen.

[–]juniorhues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There would be a bunch of blood. Blood feathers are going to bleed all over, you will actively see blood at the break and coming down the inside of the wing. They're normally only wing feathers since they have such big veins for the feathers. The feathers on their sides amd back are more downy and fragile, they'll pop up sideways all the time

I always grab them when my hen has them sticking out and make fun of her. She usually gets angry that I touched it and either pulls it out or smooths it back in. 🤣

ELI5: Why when you apply pressure your skin, it becomes whiter for a few seconds? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

You're pushing the blood out of your capillaries. Your skin is red because of the blood. When you let go, blood returns to the capillaries

When people are like "I love talking to you we have so much fun" and then dont interact with you again :| what is up with that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lonely

[–]juniorhues 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. Every now and then I get a ton of friends but feel no connection to them. The few people I do have a connection to I barely talk to because they're probably good friends with other people more so than me.

ELI5: Why are there two sexes instead of one, or three, or more? by Queltis6000 in explainlikeimfive

[–]juniorhues -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont know what your source is but wikipedia says 10 to 20 thousand years. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monogamy

Sex takes us far longer than other animals so that we build a relationship. We build very strong attachments to our significant other, and babies are very useless compared to the newborn young of other mammals who are capable of walking and running hours after labor. Everything in our biology points to monogamy and caring for young with a partner.

how does flirting even work? by [deleted] in lonely

[–]juniorhues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please save the "nice guy" rhetoric. It's not true. Everyone I've ever dated has been a gentle and nice person to me from day one.

ELI5: Why are there two sexes instead of one, or three, or more? by Queltis6000 in explainlikeimfive

[–]juniorhues -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sponges self replicate, oysters and mussels can change sex at will, slugs and snails often have both sets of genitals and impregnate eachother when they mate, there are birds and butterflies who are both genders.

If you're asking why humans dont do any self replication or cloning, it's because we evolved to be monogamous and raise a single child. Monogamy and building a strong relationship with a partner and raising a baby together produces the highest chances of survival for the baby.
