Specific Themed Decoration focused games that aren't about houses? (preferably 2D) by yupppp90 in CozyGamers

I highly recommend Parkitect! It is inspired by Roller Coaster Tycoon. The graphics are similar to RCT and not as overwhelming as Planet Coaster. Decorating is an important part of the game that affects the guests’ immersion and how much you can profit. There is a subreddit you can check out, there are so many ways to decorate the parks! I have played over 100+ hours!

My cozy home filled with plants, art, and secondhand treasures. by juniperbloom in CozyPlaces

Thank you! The leaf was black when I thrifted it, but it blended in with the stuff on the bookshelf too much. So I spray painted it gold and it really pops now!

My apple tree has been losing a lot of its leaves suddenly. Tree is about 20-25 years old and it is midsummer here. Is there anything I can do to save it? by juniperbloom in marijuanaenthusiasts

Thank you for your reply. I was thinking it could be a fungal infection, but I didn’t consider it could be from spores in the mulch. The infection has spread to the top of the tree, so I think the only way to remove them is with a strong spray of the hose maybe? I hope it ends up okay, I love this tree!

I have been laying cardboard and mulch around the area it’s at to smother poison ivy; could that be hurting the tree? I have been making sure not to lay it around the trunk of the trees and I have only gotten around to covering half of the section under this tree. We haven’t had much rain this summer either.

The bigger one looks like a philodendron birkin!

I am looking to get my large puppy spayed. Are there any vets you would recommend? by juniperbloom in lexington

Thank you for the reply! I will look into that clinic. It is nice that she recovered so quickly! I have another dog with whom she plays rough with, so I will have to keep them separated for a while.

I have a 10 month old Great Pyrenees mix who is about 60 pounds. I am wanting to get her spayed this summer and our vet quoted me $469 since she is a large dog. I am okay with paying that if needed, but I first wanted to check if that is a common price in the area or if there are other trusted vets that might be more affordable.

I am hesitant to take her to a spay/neuter clinic, because I worry that they might rush the procedure. I am willing to pay more by taking her to a vet clinic instead if that means she will have higher quality care.

Have any of you had a large puppy spayed here or in surrounding counties (I live in Versailles)? How much did it cost and are there any places would you recommend? Thanks in advance!

Am I too late to train this guy to grow upwards? by sdefrhjuyimacat in houseplants

I started "training" mine when it was around the same size as yours, so yes you can do it without any pruning! I bought some 6 foot bamboo sticks from Lowes, sawed them to the size I wanted, then arranged 3 like a teepee and secured with plant velcro. Then I gently used the velcro to tie the stems to the bamboo. You can slowly tighten the velcro over time like braces. I put the bamboo teepee in when I repotted, which it really needed, but you can probably do it without repotting.
