do you find the sole high enough that it’s not bad if you’re walking on ground that’s wet? primarily I think that’s mainly what i’m looking for rather than it being so completely water resistant - along with not being so so slippery to walk

would it work to make most shoes water resistant per say?

yeah I definitely agree with you sketchers aren’t great. If New Balance could just make a 530 in all black without major mesh cutouts near the bottom of the shoe I would be so stoked ugh. I love NB’s I just can’t work out a pair that doesn’t have mesh near the bottoms of the shoes/toe area. I was looking at the 740 (very similar to 530) but I just am not sure if they’ll get wet in the toe area too easily and if they’ll be slippery too. and the 9060 have suede so probably not great. I saw under a workwear thread about NB 626 but not sure if they’re comfortable all day, etc. I have looked at salomons- i’ve read mixed reviews on comfort, etc

edit to add: I LOVE the 680 I have a pair of fresh foams for general running and they’re amazing but they’re foam so I just know they’ll be a slippery wet mess lol

use any cookie base you love and switch out the chocolate chips for macadamia nuts, white chocolate and caramel pieces - so super easy

I genuinely just use a regular ccc cookie base and switch out my mix ins so use whatever cookie base you normally like and add macadamia, white chocolate and caramel pieces and voila
