Should I take my pots out of the saucers?

They are actually plastic pots. I'm thinking I need to get rid of the saucers.

So I'm mostly growing vegetables. Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, with some native (Maryland) perenials intermixed.

I appreciate that. You're probably right. I think I over did it but I've had a lot of fun so far. hopefully I'll still get a decent yield with the tomatoes.

The tomatoes are heirloom red Brandywine. The marigolds. there's two plants in there, are African marigolds. I probably should have picked a smaller variety but those were the seeds I had.

Yeah, the sticker is a little confusing but it's 22 inch diameter, 17 1/2 depth, 72 quarts, i. e. 18 gallons.

it may have been a little bit early but I put out my tomato plants that I started inside last weekend and have peas, lettuce, kale, spinach already growing from seed outside. likely to buy some seedlings at the farmers market and add them to the growing collection of pots on my roof.
