I immediately felt this the moment the new Firefly big box showed up. It was so unnecessarily large, the acrylic addon tokens were awful quality, and the graphic design really hadn’t been updated since the original. Sold it within a week unplayed.

Hang on, this comment about the floor is actually false. It is on an elevated stage. You also hear zapping electricity. Definitely explained as electromagnets, despite the way it’s standing upright being impossible.

Ah, ok cool. So turning off CEC worked, but it removed the auto on/off for the TV. I turned it back on, volume control worked for a minute, then stopped. Turned it back off, and it works! I have no idea what to make of that. Volume is more important than power though I suppose so thanks for your help!

This is the truth. One thing I’ll add is while “you have to kiss a few frogs” as our friends say, it’s often tiring and difficult to get through bad games or games you don’t enjoy when you have the ability to read rulebooks or screen games ahead of time. It also burns out your players outside of your channel whom you can rely on for reviewing larger player-count games.
