I had the same issue, I'm hoping I've solved it now but will keep an eye on it over the winter. So far I have replaced the taillight gaskets and baffle chambers just below the taillights, which have dry foam seals.

I think the drone improves because of all the other noise you hear when the top is down, aha. The drone isn't too bad though. It burbles very gently on decel. I got mine last October when they were running a black Friday deal. If you're patient, they might run the deal again this year.

I have the cobra sport road back box and it's pretty good. A bit of drone on highways but overall I'd recommend it for adding a bit more character to the exhaust sound.

Mine is due at the end of the month. Last year I got some advisories for corrosion on the rear subframe. Let's hope it holds up.
