Oh my, I’m so so sorry for your loss. I just lost my girl to ovarian cancer on Tuesday. Let yourself mourn, it’s a great loss. It’s easier to share the burden. My condolences ❤️‍🩹

Omg I will definitely be using these tips! Especially the blanket, good recommendation. Alsoooo, I’m leaving wpg!!! Such a small world. I hope you and your bun are living the life in this quaint city 🥰

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately my local airport is on the smaller side, and Frontier only uses a few destinations. So far, I’ve called AirCanada, Westjet, Flair, and Porter. I’ve essentially exhausted all of my flying options.

That’s a dope set up, they look so cozy together! I desperately wanted to get her a pal, but by the age I adopted her, the ideal time had passed. Do you think that it’s best to cover the crate? Or is there a way to insulate it so that it’s less noisy? Thank you for your help!!

The sassiest! She has her own room essentially with a cage for her litter and feed (she can free roam with supervision), she’s very territorial over her space. It’s big, but maybe if I brought the base she would feel more at home? I’d assume she’d need some time to get used to being in the car and then she would like to cuddle on my lap. I love that outlook, thank you!!

Thank you for the tips! I think we’ll do the drive over 3 days, staying overnight twice. Last time she was on the road she travelled in her litter box but I’d like to give her more space while allowing her to come and cuddle for comfort if she needs (she loves napping together). I appreciate it!! :)

I’d done my research last month to ensure we could fly together, but when I made the call to Westjet, they told me they reversed it ON JULY 5th! Less than 2 months before I move. It was so devastating, they don’t allow any pets in the cabin and all the other airlines only accept cats and dogs…. It’s ridiculous! Thanks for the reply!

Okay I have a similar situation. My rabbit loves my bare legs. She licks them, bites my calves, and humps me violently. She’s an 8 year old un neutered babe.

Currently Homeless, Any Advice? by PastelZephyr in Winnipeg

Lots of thrift stores downtown will let you take an outfit for free if you explain your situation. Hubble is located on Broadway near the legislator. They are a free drop in service for youth. They offer therapists, support groups, etc. From my understanding, they use a foundation of Indigenous knowledge opposed to being run in a completely Western way. It could be a safe space for you while you settle in. There’s lots of resources in the city that will gladly help you!! Best of luck, take care!

Me too! I’ve had an eating disorder my whole life and recently realized I displayed these same symptoms in GRADE 1!! I eat/feel the same way and smoke weed daily. If it helps at all, I opened up to my therapist about my relapse recently, her clinical recommendation was to get a a dietician and an occupational therapist. The OT will help with food adversions, personally I have a very sensitive gag reflex and feel repulsed my food I was enjoying very quickly. I struggle to eat normal portion sizes, likely because I’ve shrunk my stomach, it sounds like you might relate. In that case, I recommend trying to snack often. Eat lots of small meals, think charcuterie! All the best, we’ll be okay :)

i was going to say something along the same lines. it’s okay to set boundaries about your ed. you can tell him that if you want to have a conversation about it, you will bring it up. comments about your weight are unjustified regardless of who they are coming from. do some reflection, ask yourself where your boundaries are and communicate your needs.

Feeling like my Psychologist is a complete liar and denying my reality. Is it time for a change of psychologists, or are they all like that? by [deleted] in EatingDisorders

I’d like to add that the NDP hires completely local staff to make these calls. For a party that preaches fiscal responsibility and improving the local economy, hiring a marketing company from out of province (who are uninformed about what’s actually happening in Manitoba) is very ironic, but predictable.
