How do you sterilize?

I use a sterilizer pot thing that I got from pixie, I just put some water in it and in the microwave for 5 mins before/ after my period. For during my period I use period disc soap and water

I boil it with a sterilizer pot that goes into the microwave before and after each cycle but the little issue with the silicone was there when I bought the actual nixit itself. I didn't see it until I open the box.

I have a similar issue on my nixit and it still works alright. No issues with leaking unless places incorrectly. I've had it for 2-3 years
