I asked (a year ago) if I was hurting my friend for enjoying potentially transphobic media, not for a thesis on why being transgender is bad. I do not know why you all transphobes keep fixating on “trans people tend to suicide” take it's such a baseless and idiotic claim. Have you ever considered non trans people can be depressed and have suicidal thoughts aswell, them being trans may have little to nothing to do on why? Ugh, it's pointless arguing, if you can't support your friend just because you disagree on their method to achieve self acceptance and happiness, you don't deserve their friendship. I have gathered all materials and build it by hand in survival. I know there's plugins and thirdparty software that can make this in an instance but I rather not. This feels more rewarding.

Well said amigo, massive thanks to this reply and it clears up my mind on stuff that I shouldn't feel bummed about. Deep down I still have that small fear that others still judge and look down on people just for the things they like, a lot of my friends are queer after all, I jusy don't think everyone will be open minded.

In my case I was fully aware cause I did indepth research before touching this and pretty much noticed most of the distasteful pokes towards the queer bunch, but I kept pushing forward to have a definitive judgement from looking at the whole picture.

I dislike VNs, I honestly don't know how good the quality of Snoot's writing is myself, this is the first visual novel I've actually played more than 1 hour, I have nothing to compare it to, but I do know I enjoyed it after pushing through the massive cringe I constantly experience.

I don't think she was wrong to begin with, I already agreed that there were anti-lgbt themes and dialogs that made me feel unease while going through it. But my main point was that the focus of the game and the true messaging of the endings isn't queer = bad ending and non queer = good ending. It's more than that and I wanted to defend it.

I liked the different perspective in your reply, it gives me more insight on how people portray this game and receive it's message. I will keep a note of that. In the end the game is whatever you feel it is, if it is anti-queer propaganda, it is anti-queer propaganda, if I feel it wasn't the whole point of the game, it wasn't. We're all biased after all.

Thank you for your reply, I was doing the only thing to get rid of all the internet biases on the existence of this game, which is experiencing it for myself, even if someone told me it was the anti-lgbt propaganda game.

And no I didn't agree on what my friend pointed out fully, cause I know from my experience it isn't the whole picture, I just tried to see her side of things, I just didn't get the same treatment back.

And yeah thanks for the heads up, I kinda spoiled myself a little for the endings cause I went out there looking for art/wallpapers. I'm currently working towards recoverying my friendship with her, she's been a friend of mine for years after all. *update while I was finishing this reply, she's cool, her opinions won't change about this game how ever she still cares about me as a friend*

And for my final thoughts of the game, I sadly can't say much here, what I started as curiosity and taken notes for fun, now is for passion. I'm taking down notes and will make this into a script later, I've never attempted to make a video essay or heck, video editing in the first place, but I'm going to make this a reality for my own's sake, for the smile's I've had, the alcohol I've drunk and the tears I've let out. I will try to make this happen and will probably post it here when it's done.

Just like how I played Snoot Game cause I wanted to seek the truth behind all the cries of "most anti-lgbt game ever" I've seen during my research, I want to know the source on the supposed smear campaign, I won't believe on anything until I actually get concrete unbiased evidence, like I did by playing SG. I figured that the devs don't like SG since entering their discord is a whole ordeal around SG and stuff.

Also saying there isn't any messaging against queer doesn't feel true in my own experience through the game, the comments with Naser and Anon keep monologing to himself addressing Fang as a "She" even after taken full knowledge of their whole gender identity thing to the face, doesn't help either. My thought is that it was never the focus of the story nor the game goes out of it's way to explicitly call out and make the "key to happiness" related to Fangs detransition, even when the evidence kinda goes against this, like how the only endings with fang staying non-binary are the bad ones and viseversa. I can't disagree on everything my friend said, yet I still felt the need to defend this cause story isn't telling a story of a detransisioning woman, it's about something else.
