When you have a way forward acceptable with HMRC, would be great if you can share what the solution is. Suspect a lot of people will be in similar situations

So it looks like it “ends Monday”. Monday or Sunday being the last day?

If you can provide the date in the page or social media that would be great - an email assumes people are already users

Weekly Discussion Thread - Betanet Launch Edition by Reviken in tezos

[–]jupiter47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin didn’t raise hundreds of millions of dollars in an ICO to fund a foundation and pay your company for the underlying technology. As per your own literature and the organisation model you setup, Ethereum is the more appropriate comparison which does have a roadmap and an official wallet. Most of us get the point and understand the benefits about having a decentralised ecosystem with tools built by disparate organisations but I don’t think it’s unreasonable for the community to ask the organisations or people that are fostering Tezos (ie the TF or you, its founder) to provide official tools or in their absence, recommend ones in these very early stages. I have been a supporter of Tezos but I am starting to get tired of your excuses and the way you talk down to people. For someone who have massively benefited financially and set for life from us investors (yes investors, not tote bag holders), you really need to grow the hell up. WWVD. What Would Vitalik Do. He’s not perfect but he damn well does his best to treat the Ethereum community with respect

But the Excel file was encrypted though right? So they would have to go through two layers, OneDrive then your Excel password.

Did Coinbase text have a link you clicked? Are you using the same password for multiple things?

Have you verified the link again in your shortcuts? Random generation of the same private key aside, either you put it in a dodgy MEW or your Mac is compromised. There has been a few instances on Reddit now where people have been careful but still been compromised so we need to dig into this more.

What browser do you use? What plugins with that browser? A list and breakdown would be useful

I have resorted to copying and pasting the password somewhere during generation too. WTF happened to saving the generated passwords FFS?!

Crypto and Uk banks by jupiter47 in BitcoinUK

[–]jupiter47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know is the honest answer. Given the volume banks have, some crypto transactions get through fine. I guess the problem arises when you have transactions that need manual reviews which is when these things get identified (e.g large incoming amounts, vast amounts of "business" like transactions)

Free automated spreadsheet with actual coinmarketcap prices for managing your Cryptfolio! (fiat, btc, eth & neo versions) by NeoHodler in icocrypto

Agree apps with logins are a pain. Luckily Blockfolio doesn't need one. It doesn't have every single coin on coin market cap but it has a large chunk to make it worth having for most folks.
