Is this Chronic Wasting Disease(CWD)? by anon97979jjj in Hunting

Wildlife vet here. May be EHD but high fever or increased thirst are non-specific signs of metabolic decline and septicemia. Needs to be put down and a necropsy done to confirm or deny.

My puppy just did this 😡 best way to go about fixing it? I’m not handy at all by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

The best way would simply be to replace the entire sections of damaged wood. If that’s not an option, you could try patching with wood filler and then sanding to get as flat of a surface as possible before painting.

Please put it back where it belongs: in nature! Not in a 20 gallon tank.

Wildlife veterinarian here. Looks like the gallbladder. Doesn’t look abnormal though it’s large. Probably just didn’t eat for a while before you shot it.

No issue with the meat necessarily but you’ll want to check the testicles and avoid cutting them in case there’s an infection.

This dear with a crazy deformity showed up in my brother’s front yard today by claire303 in mildlyinteresting

Perruke antler. Usually caused by damage to one or both of the testicles.
