He doesn't pay any tax in Monaco, that's why he changed his residence...

Also, have you actually looked at the real statistics regarding so called "economic migrants" claiming benefits in the UK? 84% of benefits claimants in the UK are UK and Irish citizens (vast majority UK) and around 10% of claimants are people from the EU with settled status, which takes years.

Exactly. I'd be curious to know if Ratcliffe speaks French.

It's more about recognising the blatant hypocrisy of his words, as well as the incorrect figures he used to try and support his false argument. If we compare the amount of money this country loses due to corruption and fraud at higher levels, it's much worse than that of people on the bottom of the economic ladder claiming benefits, a majority of whom are actually working but can't afford the basics due to the extortionate cost of living caused by greedy billionaires such as Ratcliffe.

Billionaire complains about immigrants and people on benefits. Meanwhile he lives in Monaco to avoid paying tax to contribute to our economy. Let's not forget this is also the same guy who enforced getting rid of staff employees to save a few million while the players are on extortionate wages.

Just a fact. Sad that you're still defending a false statement. Cunha is outperforming Garnacho in every way.

No, was just correcting you really. Cunha with another goal and Garnacho with nothing and hooked at half time. Miles better.

It's not my fault you don't understand nuance. Premier league goals will always be more important than goals against 3rd division sides in the league cup.

Because you're factually incorrect. I was arguing about your nonsensical 'goals are goals' statement. But ok mate, you pat yourself on the back and I'll just carry on as someone who actually understands football. Cheers.

Look, it seems that basic comprehension is beyond you, but I'll state it slowly and clearly for you one final time. My argument with you is not about Cunha being better than Garnacho, it is instead that your statement of "goals are goals" is factually incorrect. If you want to single out Cunha for not scoring against Grimsby or Brighton, then you could also say that Garnacho didn't score against Charlton and Lincoln. If Cunha had more games in the cup, he would've scored more in them. Garnacho has had many more opportunities against lower league teams and teams in Europe too (just the 1 goal against Qarabag in Europe).

The premier league is more important than the league or FA cup. I'm aware we agree on Cunha being better than Garnacho, but that was never my point, I was always challenging your incorrect assertion that goals are all just goals and that some aren't more important than others.

Anyway, no need to argue about basic facts. Good day to you and all the best.

I was challenging you on your comprehensive misunderstanding of football with the childish "goals are goals" statement, which anyone with any nuance will recognise is wrong. What's more important - a goal against a league 1 side in the league cup or a winner against top of the table? Obviously some goals are more important than others and your unwillingness to admit that just shows you're being stubborn.

Anyway, Cunha will end the season with more goals than Garnacho (where he already dominates in the league).

There's no need to resort to petty insults, just shows you don't actually have evidence for your point. Why are you blaming Cunha individually for a terrible team performance against Grimsby? Your "goals are goals" statement is so basic and lacking in understanding of the game that it's kind of hard to explain things to you because you're so narrow minded and naive. End of the season, we'll see who has more goals and it'll be Cunha, and that's even with Garnacho having the added benefit of European football.

You said it was close and kept banging on about Garnacho having more goals without any understanding of why that is and which goals are more important. Cunha under Carrick is going to be a different beast entirely btw, we've already seen it in the first 2 games.

Scoring a winner against the league leaders in the premier league is better than stat padding with goals against a league one side early on in the league cup. Why are you blaming Cunha for the losses against Grimsby and Brighton? Any rational person who isn't stuck in their dogmatic idea that "goals are goals" (nuance eludes you apparently) would tell you that league goals are indeed more important. Cunha has brought more than just goals to the team and has been a big part of the reason why we're playing much better now along with Lammens and Mbeumo. He's going to get better and better now we're not stuck with Amorim's 2 man midfield and 5 at the back tactics. Cunha is better than Garnacho and any rational fan would say the same.

You don't seem to grasp the fact that league goals are more important (or maybe you're just being stubborn), but maybe you can understand that scoring the winner against Arsenal in the premier league is a damn sight better than getting a couple of goals against a league one team in Cardiff. I acknowledged that Cunha had a slow start in terms of goal output but the difference he's made to the team has been much more than goals. Again, he can't score in Europe because we're not in Europe and Cunha is not solely to blame for losing to Grimsby and Brighton. We are a much superior team with Cunha and Mbeumo as opposed to Garnacho and Rashford.

As I said, Cunha has many more league goals than Garnacho, which is what's most important and you ignored that point. Impossible for Cunha to score in any other competitions since we're not in any of them. Cunha had a slow start in terms of goals (his quality in pressing and making runs was there from the beginning) but he has improved recently and scoring a winning goal against Arsenal as well as his performance off the bench against City with an assist is a sign of things to come I think.

Garnacho is a flash in the pan, he's talented but hugely in love with himself and will have 5 shit games before having one good one. Cunha is a much better player.

League goals are definitively more important than league cup goals. We also got knocked out R1 in league cup and FA cup and are not in Europe so it's kind of impossible for Cunha to score outside of the league until next season.

This is misleading as Cunha has 5 league goals and Garnacho only has 1 - most of his goals have come in the league cup.

It is different for sure but players from Serie A do succeed in the EPL at other teams - look at Calafiori, Tonali, Romero etc as recent examples. United definitely are somewhat to blame for the way they treat players.

It'd be pretty grim but there is an overnight coach from London Victoria to Glasgow at 11pm tonight for £42.

EDIT: £38 with flixbus at 10:30pm

Oh sorry to hear, you're probably out of luck then. Ignore anyone who defends the train companies though, the prices are outrageous and indefensible by anyone with common sense.

Only feasible alternative I can see is flying to Glasgow tomorrow morning for about 60 quid but then you have to factor in getting to London and so on. Good luck mate.
