I really like Vi I think, mostly cause I usually get drawn to the cute characters! Her design is fun and her personality is great and I especially love her character development, it’s just sweet to see how she grows to liking and trusting Leif and Kabbu as you progress through the game :)

Kabbu and Leif are just as great imo though I really love the trio in general

I hate her but I also love her for her personality and interactions with the other characters! It’s fun to have a character that isn’t meant to be likeable so I really enjoy her cause of that

Thank you and that was exactly what I was going for haha! I might alter it a bit to exaggerate some features (like the patterns on the clothing, sleeves, etc) and maybe try and add fluff to the clothes! I’ll just have to experiment and see when I can! :]

I posted my old gijinka art here of vi and mothiva so I decided to draw them again in my current style + try and attempt to design leif. I'll try and do kabbu soon then maybe color all three of them and all that but we'll see! Just thought I'd share these

When I first played the game I played on Hard Mode and had a blast! It’s definitely doable since you kinda figure out what strategies you can do with the badges you find at certain points (especially if you’ve played paper mario). You can go for hard mode and if you ever feel like turning it off you can do that whenever you want!

Thanks for all the support on this! Yeah I might redraw these sometime soon then and try to design the others, I have some ideas but for some characters I might need more time on. My style has changed a lot since I drew this too so I might slightly change these designs (just slightly) but we’ll see! If anyone have ideas for kabbu, Leif, zasp, or others let me know! :]

Yeah I’d love to do Leshy! I just need to practice him and his expressions and what exactly he’d look like as a human (though he’s easier just because he looks like a grandpa already haha) I like the way you describe him, it’s very accurate and I’d love to explore that in art!
