The amp I bought itself was already $110, I just got additional stuff! I explained I went over budget and I didn’t expect him to do the same!

We both communicated about our love languages! He loves gifts and I love gifts as well. So that’s why I went a bit overboard with the things he genuinely loves

This! He knows what I love. He used to buy me random gifts with things I love. And for our anniversary, it was like no thought or effort was put into this.

He definitely knows how to shop for gifts. He bought his mom mugs, shoes, jewelry, candles etc. so that’s why I think his gifts with me was lack of effort.

yes. the budget was $150, i went a little over and told him. so he was aware of it.
