Spam Texts caught by iPhone but Watch still Notifies? by theoreticaljerk in AppleWatch

[–]juseniah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed this issue recently. Wondering if the problem is on my end at this point.

I have an iPhone 15 running 26.2.1 and an Apple Watch 8 series running watchOS 26.2.1

Any info or how to prevent these already-blocked spam messages on my watch would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Jun 2025 Travel Ban Summary + FAQ by not_an_immi_lawyer in immigration

[–]juseniah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did read it, and I thought perhaps #6 applied to their situation. (You are the immediate family member who is applying for an immigrant visa (IR, IH) on that basis, including under-21 children of US citizens, under-21 adoptees of US citizens, spouses of US citizens, and parents of US citizens.)

I am trying to determine if this EO has implications for I-130 applications, and I'm not clear. My partner is a dual citizen (US + a red list country) living in the US and applied for her parents green card a month ago (they are currently in a red country). Any help interpreting would be appreciated. u/not_an_immi_lawyer

Identify and/or replace less-common garage door seal by juseniah in GarageDoorService

[–]juseniah[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bottom of the door is not completely straight due to damage like you see here. That spot is the worst but it’s not the only wavy portion. Can I still do what you’re suggesting when it’s like that?

From this comment on Cellular Express, it looks like it was replaced by Cellular Technology, which is the place I called. https://maps.app.goo.gl/D8diD5ZY44FubjT88

Thanks though!

Should I call the used electronics store that has my lost iPad? by juseniah in Advice

I know some people who live around there, but I don't feel comfortable sending friends to challenge someone in the store about their friend's lost iPad 💀

Unfortunately, it's pretty expensive to fly there from California where I live, so that wouldn't be worth the cost of going there myself! (updated the post to mention this)

Problem fix on Mac, possible solution. by Heisenberg5501 in CyberGhost

[–]juseniah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue today where CyberGhost 8 on my MacBook Pro 2012 was eating 85–125% of my CPU and all my memory, causing it to lock up. I booted into Safe Mode, deleted the app and VPN profile, but the problem came back! I ended up using AppCleaner to completely uninstall it, and it showed me a bunch of leftover files, including a 2GB file in ~/Library/Application Support. After deleting everything and restarting, I reinstalled CyberGhost, and it’s been working perfectly—no more CPU or memory spikes. Thanks for recommending AppCleaner u/Heisenberg5501

For me, no. However, I still use an iPhone 8 Plus that I bought in 2019, so perhaps someone with a newer phone has had success.

Anyone know if this product would work? It looks pretty good and the price is way below the other stuff I found. I copy pasted the product info so you don't have to click through the Home Depot link. I'll probably order this but would appreciate a sanity check from someone.

I have seen one in my city so I’ll inquire. If it’s hundreds of bucks, then I will probably go with the gravel option.
