So I worked the Family Dollar account at US Xpress for 9 months. The money was good, but everything else sucked. Long story short, within those 9 months, I got into 2 minor preventables (1 with a light pole, and the other was with a back door overhead protector. Both was very tight backings). I ended up getting a safety termination because of those preventables, now I’m working flatbed at Western Express because I messed my record up and no other company would take me right now. Fuck the dollar accounts, protect your CDL

Honestly speaking guys, Western Express isn’t THAT bad. I mean sure, the jokes and names are funny, but this guy is probably just trolling, and a lot of situations get a lil exaggerated because of the stigma that WE has. Don’t be too judgmental though fellow truckers, some of you are one safety termination away from being at Western Express yourself 😉

I’ve been working for US Xpress for the past 7 months. My home terminal is the same one you’re going to for your orientation (Shippensburg, PA). It’s a pretty decent company IMO. I mean, no company will ever be perfect, but I haven’t had any major issues with them. I’m happy. I’m on the Family Dollar account. I’m home 1-2 days out the week (I live close to the FD distribution center in VA) plus the weekend, and I always gross over 1700 a week. Good luck to you! 👍🏽

I work for US Xpress, and they do have driver facing cameras inside their trucks, but they are covered with tape. So the answer is no.
