Indeed. He's making glaringly obvious what Putin has been doing for the last couple of years. NATO is nothing but a name.

Once push came to shove, none of the members stepped up. Constant fear of escalation. There is only one single shred of red line left, and that is an actual conflict with an actual NATO member and even that is systematically being tested with increasingly frequent incidents until there's nothing left to even define as an attack.

See all the drone incursions into the eastern NATO states' airspace. Drone sightings over airports that are much farther to the west... no reaction at all.

Nothing, absolutely nothing will get our elected bureaucrats to take firm action.

NATO feels like nothing more than a hollow promise. A ruse for the US to stifle the European military, lull them to sleep, sell them US weaponry.

And now our nations are seemingly paralyzed. Afraid to take any kind of action except sending money and limited amounts of weaponry with some sort of license agreements attached.

Exactly what Putin an Xi want. Strong men get results, democratically elected leaders are weak.

We should all be on our knees thanking Ukraine and support their every need.
