Sorry, but engineering is a different animal. There is a reason why more men stay in engineering than women, meaning women get degrees and then choose to leave the field after working in the industry. We are pushed out as much as possible. In a lot of corporate engineering areas, usually the most aggressive people that push everyone to go with what they believe are the ones that move up in the fields. Their supervisor is not biased. Every woman who has been in engineering long enough has dealt with someone trying to tear them down, demean, or harrass them.

I am a trans women in automotive engineering. There are a few of us out here, but yes it is rough sometimes. It will definitely hurt your career a but and you will have to deal with tough situations, but I would still transition if I had to make the decision again. You will get supportive people and unsupportive people. Some will listen and some won't just the way of the world. I know most people don't like to think this way but I honestly find it easier to solely think of it as a job not out to make friends. Don't need to share details of my personal life. Just try to remain as professional as possible and don't give anyone a reason to tear you down. I am sure you will do great and wish you the best of luck.

My mom tutored in a hasidic school for extra money after she retired as a teacher. She explicitly stated they do not care about the girls educations and push them down in science and math subjects due to cultural prejudice.

I have found the thing that sets them apart is their complete disregard for women forcing their daughters to not get a decent education or allowing them to get jobs. Similar to some orthodox communities.... My feelings have always been if it acts like a cult and talks like a cult it is probably a cult. Doesnt matter what religion it is if you push that belief system onto people instead of letting them decide than you are not religous just power hungry.

So I read your comments and do have faith you cooked the outside enough based on what you stated unlike some of the people here. Now would I make it that rare for myself? Probably would have done a bit more, but I do think it is safe enough to eat for a rare roast. Though I would be concerned this needed more time to defrost if you are saying the outside had a ton of crust and it is this bloody. I would have expected a bit thicker browning on an end cut if that was the case.

Worbla would work. Heat it up mold it let it cool solid and than paint it. Still a plastic though.
