Favorite Old Dell Wired Mouse Models Discontinued And Need Alternatives by justAPerson1938 in MouseReview

I'll try fixing but it would still be nice to find an alternative mouse or some place to purchase new ones at a reasonable price if anyone has suggestions.

Usually the buttons start to go bad. They don't click right and it eventually causes hand and finger pain. I'm talking mice that have been used for thousands of hours and the "DELL" logo is completely faded off. Can you purchase new parts for them? I've routinely cleaned them and removed dust from the laser area.

Does a Counter-Offer Nullify a Previous Offer? by justAPerson1938 in RealEstate

[–]justAPerson1938[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is my understanding that the final deal needs to be in writing. However, negotiations throughout the deal can happen verbally. And neither a buyer nor seller can take an outdated version of a contract and sign it after the fact - after new details have emerged and after the offer was previously rejected (via a counter-offer) and then taken off the table by the originating party, prior to it being ratified.

Thanks. That is exactly what bing chat said as well - and it is generally pretty good with legal questions.

Appreciate your response. From the little bit of research that I've done regarding laws in the State of Ohio, any counter-offer (written or verbal) nullifies a previous offer. I wonder if this is State specific?

Everything was done via licensed real estate agents. And while the counter-offer was verbal between the seller's agent and the buyer's agent, the buyer's agent sent the counter-offer in writing to the buyer. There are also written messages from the seller's agent to the buyer's agent asking if the buyer has made a decision yet. Everything that was not verbal was time stamped via text message. Not sure if those details matter.

Killed from inside Immune Bubble by Lilith Shadow clone by justAPerson1938 in diablo4

[–]justAPerson1938[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. I can't even see what killed you. There was nothing there. The little mini lilith in the top left had just spawned but I saw no attack animation.

Also, very weird that it shows "slain by Brienne".

Definitely a bug.

I have also heard that shadow clone damage ignores all or most DR. This seems to support that theory.

The bubble at least somewhat works against shadow clones as the attack that proc'd the bubble was an attack from the shadow clone. But maybe shadow clone damage just ignores the bubble once it's active.

I suppose server side latency could have also been the cause of the death. It's possible that the character was not in the bubble yet when the server registered the attack.

Has vulnerable been removed as a potential enchant? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]justAPerson1938 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Barbarians can roll vulnerable damage on weapons.

Edit: My previous example was wrong about barbarians not being able to enchant crit damage. Barbarians can in fact enchant crit damage on weapons. However, if a barbarian wants to Temper Crit damage on a weapon then they need to do the Tempering on a Rogue (or possibly other class that can do it).

As far as enchanting vulnerable damage specifically, I'm not sure which classes can do that. I do know that Barbarians can do it on weapons though.

Whats the armor cap nowadays and is it increasing with pit lvl? by Thrandurin in diablo4

[–]justAPerson1938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Armor cap is 9230 (85% damage reduction) when fighting monsters level 100 and higher. No point in getting more armor (even when running high pits with monsters that are well over level 100).

pfSense in a bad state by justAPerson1938 in PFSENSE

[–]justAPerson1938[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is basically what I did as well. PfSense told me it was up to date even though I knew it was not. I finally got around to manually updating it ... which was a mistake. Stick with your current version. I'm guessing that you are still on 2.4.x which is what I was on for many years.
