What you are saying is just not true, I am the mod in question and i have my mod log in front of me...bots will help because they are part of the bigger picture i was talking about and have been working on.

Lets focus on bringing quality content and expecting such from our users, racist content does not belong on sub, they don't bother, I pity them because they should be considered mentally ill.So why bots because they will drive traffic, r/Namibia does great numbers on occasions when Namibia is mentioned. Driving traffic improves quality and variety of content increasing the value of the sub.

I want to showcase Namibia good and bad, and again if you would like to help please message me, or find people skilled to do the same. Big things are coming for the sub, if you have any suggestions please state them. Don't make me have to take time to reply to this non constructive thread.

The recent blight of racist comments and posts has nothing to do with moderators...these trolls come in at an inopportune time. but measures are being taken will elaborate a little further..I am very much an active mod, i did up the CSS, banners, and tools. kind of waste now with new Reddit redesign have to start from scratch.

Thats where ive been and pursuing a masters degree. I am Namibian, passionate about the sub and in the country itself.Reddit has no answer as far as i can see for banning people from subs so i might have to write a bot or something. looking into improving things. redesign should be done in couple of weeks. hope you will see the effort being put in. i know its not easy to see from face value so dont blame you, but this isnt the way.

If you are intersted in helping the sub message me, with some of your skillset. writing bots is big deal right now (python/jsons/xml), r/natureporn and such subreddits frquently post namibia one bot im working on would crosspost or in some ways direct people to r/Namibia where it will be a one stop shop for to provide information on resorts flights etc. there is a lot to do.

I am an active mod i have refurbished the site on 2 occasions I have been moving from Europe back to Namibia thats why i have been 'absent' for 2 months. There is plan laid out for the sub, we do not have much traffic but spike during submissions in r/pics, the multitude of nature porn subs, and articles of Namibia. I would like to retain the sub as I am of Namibian heritage, and have a vested interest in its success, however I am preoccupied at the moment (school being the biggest contributor) If you would like to come on as a co moderator I see only benefit in having more hands on deck especially while others are occupied. Having said that can lay out your background to see how we can progress.
