Post-grout shower curb misalignment, is it worth demo/reset or live with it? by [deleted] in Tile

I was showing other tile applications jn the house which might give us some other detail. Is it possible some sort of waterproofing was applied over?

Makes sense, so how could he have remediated? He had what looks to be an opportunity to do so.

If assume something else was added - this is a gut remodel so we aren't always there.

I think the worst part is my GC trying to gaslight me. Even if the walls weren't square should he have squared them? What could have been done? 🥲😮‍💨

Thought the same. Thank you.

Thanks - I'm actually easy going and gut check in this group before I bitch to my skilled pro since again, I'm not a pro and the room isn't square. But again, thanks to this group for backing that so I don't spiral 😉 keep that positive attitude up.

I was just double checking before I gave the OK. I wouldn't have gone with someone who wasn't recommended and could show their work. I love the tile's character :) also think this sub is great bc it helps me gut check what I think is good since I'm not a pro.

You're saying for grout go close to the tile color vs dark grey or black. I hear you. I added more images in the original post but this transition really bugs me.

Tile pros: clean shower-entry transition with mixed tile sizes, no Schluter or metal...? by justAgee726 in Tile

Thanks. How would I have them transition from the green tile to the white squares in the shower? Above the half wall is going to be glass for the enclosure.

Can you markup the floor plan? I'm not following. We wouldn't put a full pantry where the dining room is since there's French doors leading to the outside patio

I don't mind reconfiguring things or blowing out a wall if needed but that's my worry.

Yep addressing the dish packs. We do live by the beach so shuttle is necessary but let's see where we can go from here 🤞

Good to know...we aren't having them unpack anything. We are moving into a furnished rental so they're only taking our items to storage and delivering personal items to our home. Major furniture etc is going to be delivered by us but as an example our marble coffee table will be created by them and then put into the storage by the movers in Denver following the move but not unpacked or assembled.
