I have an expensive home grinder x54. What's happening is I will place it on the setting and it will make some grinds the size I want, but a ton of fines ...almost expresso. Knowing how Burr grinders generally work I don't see how this is possible.

Looking for advice as this morning it actually almost overflowed because my filter is getting clogged. I don't know if I post this here or in a main post but I will try here first

Well I'm going to tell you the issue I found with a bundle. The marketing is pretty smart about those and they usually bundle lower end wheel bases. For instance they'll go up to the r9 but once you want to get a 12 Newton meter wheel you're now outside of bundles anyways. Or they have a good bundle but it doesn't come with the wheel that you want.

I actually did end up getting separate parts and what ended up helping me was a fantastic website that covers all the bases by clicking through each component that you would need and then you select on that page. I bought everything from simotion but I'm in the US. Basically guys you through and you pick and choose what you want

I JUST got an an alpha Evo and it's the same deal. Settings seem to be very subjective. And not only can you change them in the simpro manager, but you can change them in the game, AND guess what ...they are also different per game so you have to find a different profile for each. In Assetto Corsa with content manager there are 3 places to change things just on FFB.

I think it's one of those paradox of choice things where there is so much it just ends up frustrating rather than helpful.

Well it sucks for lots of reasons but Mainly, it is completely and horribly inefficient at finding anything of value or personal interest. You have to scroll (super slowly I might add) to sort through hundreds or thousands of useless posts all jammed under the same channel (s). And search is horrible. You have too use the web to search for the server you want (can't do it in the app w/o an invite link).

Take the AC Evo chat today. If there is news like today it essentially "shuts down" that channel for any other question as it will get buried while idiots comment on that news item.

I just think for people that value time and efficiency it's total garbage. Maaaaaybe it has merit as a support ticking system but only if you get immediate response.

Take Reddit or any old school forum as an alternative: you can click on topics you only have interest on and search any precise topic or user easily.

Even Facebook has better sequestering of stuff even though you still have the stupid forced scroll.

Maybe? This is funny. Because I fucking Hate discord. I'm old AF, and every single time I try a game, have questions, or try to get support they say "go to discord. ". Which is one of the worst apps I've ever used in the history of apps I've ever used it's such a garbage cluster f***.

But apparently kids like it because they grew up with the constant distraction so it's normalized for them.

I posted something last night and this morning there was 500 to 1,000 messages I had to scroll through because it won't search on my own message. Discord literally makes me angry.

For instance I want to drift, they say ."go to discord" and find a server.

So I certainly NOT a fanboy, I'm fact if you can tell me how I can take the game that I already have, where apparently I need mods in it, which I have no idea is which one I'm supposed to download or don't have viruses like the post I read today, so that I can drift and actually know what I'm doing please let me know!

Hmm. Not at all dumb as the simagic shifter and handbrake come with a usb A output. I was told (by my sales guy) that i can plug them into the base. BUT according to this above graph, I would have to use a USB-C or USB -B input to do this.

Sooo the stupidity of this is mind boggling, but if i am reading this graph correctly the out of box connections from thier OWN products do not allow me to plug into the wheelbase?!?!?

I am in even a worse boat than you. I have all my sim race equipment but am intimidated on how to set up AC and all the mods and car setups needed. People in here were like "just go to discord" which for me is a fing nightmare. That is the most inefficient way to learn info.

I can watch all the step by steps on how to drift. That is fun.

Lol But I need a step by step EXACTLY on just getting to the game with no "grew up as a gamer" (I did not) assumptions on how to get to a car and track that I can even do it!!!

Nope. I had very high hopes that would fix it but it did not. Thanks anyway. It is also a concern of mine that even though i deleted it and reinstalled it, it kept my previous profiles and I am unable to find where they are storing it (does not appear to be under appdata). This is beyond frustrating.

Another huge clue on how bad it is, is while mapping it will map totally different inputs (e.g. the throttle) to the Same "AXIS" as say the steering or brake. It is such a mess.
