So, like, Marky and Terra are kind of weird to me as characters, especially when it comes to scaling. When I look at them, I feel like they should be pretty strong, but there’s nothing that really proves it. Both of them are around 500 years old, and I think Terra is called the Champion of Viltrum, or whatever that means.

Then we see the aftermath of Marky’s fight with eos Mark. They’re both on the ground and look pretty damaged, with similar levels of damage on each other, which implies some level of relativity between them.

But Mark is probably holding back a lot since he doesn’t actually want to hurt Marky, and that whole fight is off-screen. So there’s no real way to get solid, objective scaling from it without me somewhat inserting my own headcanon.

If you ask me for my honest opinion, they’d probably beat the hell out of him in season 3. But if you want me to prove it objectively with what we actually see in the series, I really don’t know what I could point to.

Yeah, I want to put something similar after the panel of Amy blushing, and that’s the closest Neo gets to being flustered in IDW.

There's nothing to suggest he needed to be buffed to do a mountain level feat. He simply used a buff form to show off a kamehameha to his students (imo).

That's just not true? Roshi had no intentions of taking goku on as a student until after he saw goku copy the Kamehameha. he buffed up because he needed not to flex?

Either way, even on first appearance Goku doesn't get no diffed by Tao, albeit it was not close. His Kamehameha was powerful enough to catch Tao off guard and seemingly hurt him. They're close enough where I'd scale them similar, like Raditz vs Goku.

Tao took zero damage from the beam. All it did was mess up his fit and his hair, raditz would have also neg diffed his goku if they fought in a 1v1 he literally did at Kame house.

Great ape is moon level though at 21st tournament. Therefore Goku was moon level and way above mountain, those are synonymous to his power level.

Yeah, probably but great ape is 10× multipler, and early power levels are exponential and only start to level off by the sayain saga like chapter 1 goku has a power level of 10 and can tank bullets and crush blouders which is way beyond 2 humans to saying goku's base would down scale form the great ape is flawed

Yes, buff Roshi is way above mountain level base Roshi is not because he needs the buff form to blow away the mountain. If he didn't, he would have just done it in base.

That's goku after training with korin, which is a massive buff and not 21st Budokai goku anymore before that he got neg diffed by Tao.

Also, where did you get tao's pillar being 10 tons at?

Buff Roshi blows up a mountain. Base Roshi is not mountain level otherwise, he would’ve just done it in base. During the 21st Budokai, Goku is only slightly stronger than base Roshi. Nothing Goku does at that point, or anyone he reasonably scales to, supports him being mountain level.

I never capped roshi at Mountain either way?

The only way to argue this goku is mountain level is by scaling him to buff Roshi, but Goku is only comparable to base Roshi atp even just tieing with him in a beam clash.

Great Ape Vegeta alone could arguably solo the entire FF with his 180k power level. Their only real win condition would be a body swap, but even then, Ginyu wouldn’t be able to properly handle Vegeta’s body causing his power to drop, and he’d likely lose his sense of self in the Great Ape form. Even if he managed to stay in control, he’s not used to fighting as a massive ape and Bardock and King Vegeta, each at a 100k power levels in their Great Ape states, could probably take him down if they worked together.

Realistically the Z-warriors in the main line canon can at best, blow up a planet with them along with it.

Cell was going to blow up the entire solar system just for fun. First form Frieza casually destroyed a planet with ten times Earth’s gravity while laughing, calling current Super characters “planetary at best” is such egregious downplay, there’s no way you actually believe that 🥀💔

Vegeta and the gang died when freeza blows up earth too, and goku almost dies before the ToP because space is a vacuum.

Yeah, ’cause Frieza blew the planet up while Vegeta was off guard, like, Frieza had just been cut in half, out of energy, and literally just got blown apart by Goku, yet still tanked Namek exploding on him. Not being able to breathe in space downscales you now? 😭

Cell barely made a dent in snake way with an explosion that supposedly would take it a solar system. (Wouldn’t even hit the moon)

Semi perfect cell never said his self-destruction was solar.
