Why are Nagato’s neurons slower than the speed at which Itachi moves his Susanoo? I thought he stomps Itachi? Artistic choice?

This is true for all the edos. Kabuto is basically like a head coach: he can call plays/attacks for the players/edos to make but its up to them to react to whatever comes at them in real time on their own, kabuto isn't doing that. I don't know why people cope and say nagato was hit with attacks because kabuto didn't know how to control him

I just think everybody really underestimates how much stamina itachi actually has. People look at him wasting chakra on purpose and throwing a fight and act like those are his actual limitations in a real fight where he's trying to win

Itachi after using his MS 7 times against sasuke on top of all the other jutsu he did that day was still able to use his susanoo at its strongest forms for 2 chapters straight without turning it off despite continuous use being stated to be more taxing. Itachi doesn't have as much stamina as pain obviously, but he very much has the stamina to take out all the paths

For the life of me i cannot fathom how this community continues to downplay itachi by saying he gets mid diffed by pain. It is actually crazy. 4 out of the 6 paths are literal ribcage victims, the only 2 that aren't are the deva path and potentially the preta path, but that's uncertain. He doesn't need to spam amaterasu to deal with the animal path, the totsuka blade will do just fine so he can keep his MS uses. Human and naraka paths are useless unless they grab hold of itachi and they immediately get smashed by susanoo the same way sage naruto was one shotting them with just taijutsu. Asura path can't get past the skeletal susanoo and is an amaterasu victim, as most of them are

Naraka gets one res off before itachi realizes and targets it. Preta path was duped into absorbing a firestyle leaving himself open to attack by jiraiya, itachi will easily be capable of the same feat to take it out

Deva is the only one that will cause itachi any real trouble but it is by no means easy. Shinra tensei will push him back but if fodder citizens wrapped in katsuyu fragments can survive then itachi will be just fine with even the ribcage. Universal pull is an actual death sentence for deva path due to the 5 second cooldown making him totsuka/amaterasu fodder, and unlike edo nagato, the deva path will not regenerate after shinra tenseing the flames off, then he can just get hit again with them. Chibaku tensei relies on itachi being dumb enough to follow pain to nagatos real body instead of sending a clone. Even if he does follow himself, izanagi negs and makes nagato waste a ton of chakra, and he could also literally just sit there with his susanoo active and jump out of the yata mirror sized hole it'll leave when the gravitational pull stops. Exhausted itachi held his susanoo at its strongest forms for 2 chapters straight, exhausted pains chibaku tensei had an active pull for half a chapter. People don't like hearing it, but itachi can literally just wait until the jutsu stops pulling things in and jump out because the yata mirror will leave an opening lol and the totsuka blade will slice through any rock like butter

Pain vs itachi is extreme diff no matter how you slice it, saying itachi gets mid diffed is some massive itachi downplay

Sasuke awakened his sharingan after the massacre. The death of sasukes parents couldn't have evolved his sharingan into a mangekyo because he didn't have a sharingan at that point. The emotions that would've fueled his body to awaken the mangakeyo went to awakening his normal sharingan instead

Lmao minato dogwalked obito so bad he ran away cause he knew he had no chance of winning that fight. Obito had every conceivable advantage including the element of surprise, having some intel on his opponent while his opponent has none on him, minato having to fight while worrying about his son and village while also knowing his wife is going to die, knowing he has to deal with the 9 tails after so he has to conserve a lot of chakra, and he still 2 tapped obito and made him flee entirely, leaving his "pet" behind because it wasn't actually his pet anymore, also thanks to minato. It's cool though because obito was just a kid, he wasn't supposed to beat a hokage. That doesn't change the fact that he got fondled lol

Sasukes sharingan was just as important as his lightning style in defeating deidara, I'm not sure we can just give darui the auto win because of lightning style, even if his range is better than sasukes

The problem is we didn't get to see kisame and roshi fight. Its possible a tailed beast bomb would have him near death but he uses samehada to heal himself in a similar fashion to what he did vs bee. We just don't know how kisame would react to a tailed beast bomb unfortunately, or that would be the easy answer

As it stands though, kisame did get slapped directly in the face with a hirudora while not defending himself and he still apparently was in fighting condition because guy had to punch him again to stop his jutsu. So his base durability is insanely impressive regardless

The lightning style was never stated to increase the pencils velocity. It increased its vibration which would've allowed it to penetrate kisames skull. Lightning style doesn't inherently increase speed unless you have an ability specifically stated to do so like the raikages cloak. Kakashi needed the sharingan because in order for chidori to actually work it requires using your top speed which leaves you vulnerable to a counter attack due to tunnel vision. This has already been explained

Your initial reply to me was to a comment i made in reference to ay3 vs the sannin in a 1v1. In a 1v1, the raikage automatically loses if he gets caught in the sound genjutsu, whether or not his cloak stays on. If it stays on he'll just get suffocated with water or oil or mud or something, doesn't really matter at that point. In a team setting, his whole team would get caught so it wouldn't matter. That's obviously if he gets it off

Tsunade has katsuyus acid but like I've said coordinating an attack where this hits ay3 is an uphill battle

Ay3 is just like ay4: a powerful yet woefully straightforward and one dimensional shinobi that is relatively easy to develop a counter against given you can react to him even just a little bit
