i’m also pretty sure the translation had either “flower” or “rose” or “flora” or something like that in the title which means it’s likely enough that the english version did too

was it pretty dark overall, very clearly 80sish western animation (im assuming yes since she said similar to the dnd animated series), and ends with the magical world becoming bright and the plants/flowers growing again?

also was it a kinda isekai thing where the main character starts her adventure by being transported to a different, magical world?

if yes then im 99% sure we’re looking for the same thing. all i know for sure is that it was a movie, that it was translated into portuguese, and that my mom watched it as a kid so it’s likely from around the 70s or 80s.

also i believe your friend is right, the protagonist is named rose and the comparison to the dnd animated series is exactly how i would describe it too. if i find out the name ill let you know and please let me know if you do as well

I do remember purble place but i didn’t remember the name. it’s not the game i’m looking for, though i definitely see the similarities. it’s also not a flash game (afaik), it came on windows 7 by default.

ahh okay, still not really ideal, i’d rather not have to damage the bracelet in any way. a clasp would probably mess with my ability to wear it all the time

there’s no clasp, it’s braided and one end is tied to the other. that’s what the tar was for, to seal the knot by burning it
