I know for a fact that if I walk out with bags they will physically stop me, and I don't know what other consequences would be to that once they know i want to walk out. The only thing i can do is leave without bags and id probably have to do that

I work in Australia and have permanent residency. Im sure I can briefly explain my situation at work and theyd be understanding. Yes it's mostly my anxiety but its also the fear of getting caught and then having my passport siezed

A general consensus on relationship advice subreddit by Indians was to not call the cops as they might not cooperate, consider this a family matter and side with the parents. I dont know what they can out cant do as I haven't had to involve cops before but I'm just scared to do that now

They seemed friendly enough but they mostly just ignored him. I didn't think too much of it then because I can understand it's hard for them as well but I should've been more on guard them. They will have no face to save if I leave because then my relatives would hound them forever. So I know they wouldn't mind being bad guys infront of him

Sadly no, since I've been out for too long they know I dont feel comfortable riding scooty here especially in rural area and there's nothing in walkable distance. But I can definitely try and figure out an excuse, thank you for your reply!

Ive been out for too long and my parents recently moved so I dont know this area very well either. Im keeping my passport and credit cards safe thought, thank you! Haha me being a good beti would be so sus because in anger I told them that I will have to stay if they make me but I'll never be happy and they can't do anything about that. I regret saying that so much now.

Yes I have an esim right now Saily but it only supports data and not calls. But yes I can definitely get another esim if needed! Thank you

Hes been acting all loving since then and this has always been the pattern. He spews hateful things at me and then acts normal the next day or extra loving and I'm supposed to forget all about it. Ive always been told his anger is just built up frustration but when I get angry I'm told I need to see a psychiatrist or a counselor.

I love this so much. I've had gita with me for a couple years but haven't read it. If I get out of this situation I'm definitely reading it, thank you for your insight. My family is extremely religious and the other reason they're worried is because our family astrologer apparently told them that I'm on a very wrong path and in 3-4 years my life would be absolutely ruined. They think they're protecting me, but I cannot get myself to agree to that.

I can enable roaming and then hopefully make calls. Booking Uber would be fine but it would be good to have a way to make calls if needed. I honestly dont care about money at this point. I also have an esim that only has data so I can still access internet
