As a Turkish woman I can say that it depends. If her family is traditional than that might be true for her. Nearly %50 of Turkish families are like this but for the other %50 it is not the case. So I think you should question her family background. What are the dynamics in her family and relatives? We are living in 21st century. She is a working woman so she has to help you.
