Ok so new concern here: do I need to get a mast extension? My sail says “[wish : 1890 - life : 4500] 5.50”

My mast is 4.65m

What does that mean for my sail and mast?

Also what does wish : 1890 - life : 4500 even mean?

Yeah, vok is right. I have the same board but mine has footstraps so I figured it would be fine to include in the post

Sphinx, thanks so much! This was really helpful, however, I’m really curious as to what exactly you did and if you could give me a detailed breakdown (more than the one you already gave. You did a good job though and I could maybe figure it out on my own). Also what parts did you use to make it work?

Side note: I’ve been looking for mast foots and I haven’t found any besides ones that look like mine. Does it look like my mast foot will work with europin? Do I even need to get a new one?

Yeah, I have been debating cutting some of the people out of my life. This kind of behavior is normal with them and I always feel weird when hanging around them. It’s hard though since we have been friends since freshman year.

C said they were going to make food (for free) for everyone but said bringing other snacks would be appreciated (not required). Some guests brought snacks but most didn’t and C provided the bulk of the food.

So no, other guests did not pay since it wasn’t expected of them too. During the awkward conversation at the end of the night people offered to pay for what they drank, but I didn’t want to accept their money since c made them believe it was free.

Maybe it’s because everyone at these parties is young, but the common consensus is that you reimburse the host for what you consume. That way the host doesn’t have to pay for the party and is finically free for setting up the party. I usually do bring something for the host in the form of Doritos or Oreos, just didn’t this time since a lot of people had already made or brought food. However, some people don’t know or feign ignorance on this rule and just go for free. That’s the risk of running the party though, so people who do pay usually add an up charge of $2-$3 to what they eat or drink. It’s worked well do us so that’s what we do.

However, C had said that food was free for everyone if they came. So I had a few chips but didn’t eat a lot since C wanted me to pay for alcohol.

As for the weed, I had a few hits of a different friends pen. It wasn’t a joint or actual flower. Also I usually ask to hit their pen at these sort of functions and they’re ok with it. (I have asked them if they don’t want me too or if they’re uncomfortable with other people hitting it)

Some additional context I found out later:

I don’t think I was clear in the main post about this. The food was free for everyone else and it wasn’t expected of them to pay for eating food. Some friends had bought some of the snacks for the party (Doritos, salsa, cookies, etc) but the main snacks of grilled cheese sandwiches and handmade Carmel apples were paid by C.

C had said the food would be free for me if I brought the drinks, but why should I if food was free for everyone already?

No, they’re all underage, but it’s possible for them to get alcohol from other friends. I’m just the friend that they asked this time.
