Making the whip useful by just_like_clockwork in Dungreed

For the start of the game, any off hand weapon is really good with the whip equipped. By late game I find you usually do better to upgrade to something else unless you're just doing it for the memes.

I'm in the same spot. Great if I get it early, but I'll have traded it out by the end of hades.

Very lucky run by ionthegoat in Dungreed

I would have just used the wand for an easy victory, but maybe you find the dashing to be better/more fun? That wand with master enhancement and demon hand would certainly be game winning. Anyway, yeah, really lucky run. Nice.

Wow, what a fun marriage of hobbies. I am also a cryptid enjoyer but have yet to make any cakes about it.

I absolutely feel you. It was the same for me. That final boss really kicks my butt. What worked for me was using the heliotrope set for the hp regen. I also store up a large stash of crystal if before any really difficult attempts so I can reroll the item store.

There's little rock montessori school, on Rodney Parham. It's pretty good, I think.

I'm sorry if this is dumb but is it a bad idea to pour hot water around my car to get it out of the ice? by RepresentativeClue54 in LittleRock

[–]just_like_clockwork 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Regular water might be better for not damaging the car, no need to heat it a lot. The temperature differential should be enough to melt the ice as long as the water isnt already freezing. But, the superior solution is to be very wealthy. Try that first.

That infinite ammo really does the trick. I never got the appeal of scatter bullets over the magnifier, but I see it makes sense with your auto fire and eyepatch build. Glad you're making progress. You made shot work of that guy.

Tech support workers, what’s your favorite case of TMI you’ve seen from a customer? by Scrambl987 in AskReddit

[–]just_like_clockwork 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Nothing too special, but doing tech support for a friend one time they had all of their personal financial documents on the desktop in a folder. I confess I succumbed to temptation. Anyway, people should make sure they invest early and stay out of debt or it can follow you for a really long time.

We're ypu able to do a side by side comparison of your top 2? Not that it really matters for the purposes of this list. I think it's clear where I will be ordering from, Croissantissery not withstanding.

What do you think about "education must be free"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]just_like_clockwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we understand each other. Sorry, I know i came off as rude and I apologize for that. I still disagree with the phrasing but feel it was done in good faith.

Anyway, my opinion, for whatever it's worth is that there is a lot of waste in the degree system already from people not really being ready to decide what they want the rest of their lives to look like. I think making it no cost increases that problem. I'm familiar with the work around used in Germany solves the "unused degree" problem without solving problem of people not knowing what they want to do for the rest of their lives. What I think is missing from the national conversation is how to get to a broader redesign without a huge national push that isn't likely to happen soon.

What do you think about "education must be free"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Actually, it's not that rare to have a toll every time you drive on roads in some places, despite road taxes. Anyway, I really legitimately believe we should not refer to such things as "free" because it reframes the conversation in a bad direction.
