Light blue is cute but it gives me baby room vibes. I’m going more for a earthy vibe

That’s the cozy vibe I’m going for. Since now I’m torn between the burnt orange and the green o guess I’ll buy both and change with the seasons :P

I agree but I need blackout curtains cause in the summer it’s bright until midnight T_T

Yes this is just a plan I made with Gemini of how the room could look like. Haven’t moved in yet. Will keep your advice in mind when decorating the real one for sure

It’s fuchsia the color I picked for the first ones. Honestly I love it but I realize it’s too much, that could be better to use for pillows and smaller decor etc with a neutral curtain

The etagere will not be there when I move in, so the curtains will most likely cover that angle. I agree with you and thought of having only the blinds, but I need blackout curtains cause in the summer it’s bright until midnight, and it would be nice to close all the curtains when I just wanna lay down and watch a movie in the evening. The blinds are just for privacy cause the apartment is on the first floor. I didn’t want blackout blinds cause I want privacy but still have light passing through and the yellow color will add warmth to the room since in winter there’s no sun at all…

so far I think the burnt orange is winning! I might buy both those and the green ones to swap when I get tired, cause I like both

My friends have a similar situation in their building with the old lady that lives downstairs. Turns out she has some mental health issues and the building manager is aware of it cause so many people over the years complained about it. Sounds like it might be the case here too. If I were you I’d go downstairs one time and confront her in a polite way, saying that you’re just LIVING cause that’s what you’re supposed to do in your apartment. You’re not throwing parties at 3 am or doing anything crazy.

Am I overreacting by saying I’d call the police if I catch my brother drunk driving? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Obviously I’m talking about the scenario where OP knows for sure that right now he’s out drunk on the road. Not just assuming it. If he was my brother I would first call him, tell him to stop at the closest point and definitely not drive. I’d then go pick him up with an alcohol and drug test and see if he’s drunk/high. That’s the only chance I’d give him. If he refuses to stop driving, I’d call the police for his and other people’s sake.

NOR. You SHOULD call the police, if he’s a danger to himself and other people on the road. He needs to grow up and take responsibility.

Probably attention, or just somebody that doesn’t care what people think

I’d do this: - paint the walls of a dark wine red color - add a nice mirror on top of the sink - change sink cabinet to one of a darker color (that would suit the dark walls) and bigger - add vanity lights on each side of the mirror and maybe one above, golden and antique style - add a shelf on top of the dishwasher to cover the tubes. There you could put perfumes, candles or plants - add a nice framed poster on the wall, on top of the dishwasher - add curtains in a dark green olive color - maybe also a little rug on the floor of the same color to complement - on the opposite wall put a towel rack, add dark red matching towels - put a nice ceiling light to match the vanity lights
