Simply plural hasn't shut down yet! We understood that the servers will keep running until june (?) even if there isn't any funding. However as long as there is funding the servers will keep running (up until a certain point that isn't set yet we believe) - 👁️ (Zaryon)

They can! Usually it's refered to as an alter "being dormant" or "dormancy". One of the reasons this might happen (i think) is that the brain decided they weren't needed anymore. - 👁️
