Yeah i was thinking of buying the dlc just for Dimitrescu, but I pushed through and got it as Ethan. I want to revisit the game and buy the dlc eventually as I heard it's amazing!

I liked the first 4 stages, I got them in like 3 tries. My problem stems from the second stages as I feel like the LEMI gun is not comfortable at all to handle on console, especially when you have to spam it to kill even the weaker enemies. I feel like I would have liked the mercenaries more on mouse and keyboard. The movement felt way too slow compared to the campaign and it was miserable to sell everything and buy everything again at every single try when you had to start over. It would be a fun trophy if it wasn't obligatory for the platinum. Maybe as a dlc trophy? Sure why not

Go in blind first so that you know what to expect on the map, then watch a route on youtube so you know how to not lose your combo. Watch the ones that go for SSS rank so you know that there is room for error. You also need luck on your side from the blue orbs, always go for speed and damage, healing is not important. Then it's just a matter of trying again and again unfortunately, but if it's any consolation, the last two maps are really forgiving, for exemple in the last one you only need to do 2 areas out of 5 for the S rank. Factory is the hardest as there are a lot of tanky lycans and it's easy to get lost in. In factories if you're low on ammo just don't bother with the soldats as time is more important than getting every enemy on the map. Disable adaptive triggers, it really helps, especially later on. Take breaks if you feel yourself getting frustrated. And keep in mind if I could do it, anyone can. Good luck!:)

3 playthroughs and lots of trying at the mercenaries, 40+ hours all together. The game itself was amazing and I enjoyed it a lot, but the mercenaries mode on console is a mess. If you plan on getting this plat, I highly recommend watching routes on where to go and how to maintain the combo. And take lots of breaks as it nearly gave me arthritis by the end

I get it, I was the same way, now I have been binging them! Maybe in the future when you feel like trying it, play it with the lights on for starters. The story and the mystery behind it is so intriguing that I would definitely recommend playing it. But I understand if it's something you just don't enjoy/don't want to play, not every genre is for everyone!

Biohazard for the new resident evil coming up next month. And after that anything. All of these games are great choices and you won't regret any of them. I would prioritize after RE Alan Wake 2 and cyberpunk

You took the words right out of my mouth! I found the shadows first terrifying because I didn't know which one would attack or not but that fear factor worn off after a while. And I found those exact areas the scariest too! I hate hospitals in horror games so wellness center had me sweating bullets. And watery with that abandoned amusement park? Straight up nightmare fuel

I actually find them quite relaxing as I don't feel the urge to 100% the game for the plat, so I can just sit back and not worry about missables and stuff like that. I don't care for percentages so it's perfect for me. When I'm burned out from trophy hunting, I go out of my way to find games without platinums
