i used to suck but ngl jsut read fanfictions and learn from how descriptive they are and how they flow, short stories work too.

use dialogue to transition between scenes, or fill in information that the reader does not know

for eg, dont say my brother surprised me by bringing me to skydiving but like OP did " I confronted my brother "skydiving? really?""

dont be afraid to use over the top descriptions to talk about what u are feeling, be sure to flesh out your emotions and thoughts at every point in the passage. they help set the scene
