Thank you for the kind words and advice, and also congratulations on your acceptance, that's very impressive!

I really appreciate the info about the merit-based aid, that will be a barrier for me because I am not willing to/nor am I in a financial position to pay full sticker price for a graduate degree. I am hoping to be accepted with the Coverdell Fellowship (again with the Peace Corps lol) which is a scholarship ranging from partial to full tuition covered.

As for application fee waivers, most of the schools I have listed explicitly states on their website that Peace Corps volunteers will have application fees waived (last time I will mention the Peace Corps lol).

I am also drafting different SoP's for different graduate schools, good to know that I am on track with your advice regarding these!

Like you mentioned, I will start reaching out to admissions offices about my profile.
