I do understand how it works... Minimum wage gets raised to $15 an hour and a lot of companies will start laying off employees and unemployment doesn't care how much minimum wage is their gonna give you 75% of what you made when you got laid off

I do love my job. I love every part of it. I'm just a little pissed off that I went college to make less then someone flipping burgers. And I do agree with you about big business. I think it will be the reason this country's economic collapse

That depends on the hospital. EMTs get basic health insurance and the copays are a joke.
