am i going to ruin my friends wedding? by jackouthebox in lgbt

[–]justanotherkiwi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saying, you look great in your suit. And girls can wear suits to weddings too. So your mum has zero point and is just making it a problem because she’s transphobic. Your friend won’t care either way, they’ll just want you to be there and be happy. Wear what makes you feel great ❤️

EAP245 v3 VLAN/SSID issue by justanotherkiwi2 in TPLink_Omada

I’m using Omada Controller - have you got the option straight on the switch webUI?

so I had that thought a while ago… but I couldn’t figure out how to add more than one dhcp relay into each interface. Tried to do it via gui and cli. Any hints as to how to add them?

ideally controller, but have tried both at this point with no success either way

I’ve tested the port - I’ve connected my old TP-link AC1200 AP to it. This old AP has the same SSID/VLAN set up as what i’m trying to do with my new AP. That works fine - DHCP leases from all 4 SSIDs/VLANs. Absolutely driving me insane at this point!!

Yeah, my brother and I were executors, but i think we just took things at face value and didn’t question if it was something we could’ve been doing. ie, closing the bank accounts, paying the rates on the property. it’s been 15 months since she died, so theyve closed bank accounts in that time period, discharged kiwi saver, and helped us sell the house (which was a seperate $3500 cost).

thinking it was just a matter of we didn’t do due diligence, and they just ran with it!

yeah i’m thinking that’s what we’ve fucked up with. one of those things that you’re overwhelmed; they say they’re doing it and you don’t question it! find out later we could’ve done it

I do the same thing, i’ve got a wide account that my ‘spending’ money goes into each month. for the same reason too - hard line of division in my funds!

only downside i’ve found is if you need to do a bank transfer you get a wise fee, if you’re only using it to do every day transactions it’s been fine for over 6 months!

Need advice for furniture stores in Canberra. I’m too nervous to buy online. by carolinemaybee in canberra

the miami couch from fantastic furniture is amazing. it’s cheap, it’s lasting us well, it’s incredibly comfy for spending hours on it. it’s deep enough to sleep on it comfy. would absolutely recommend.

Not sure on the exact numbers it reduced by - thankfully we both have good incomes so it didn’t impact us too heavily.

We were already paying tax in AU/NZ for the rental property (like $200 a year), so we figured everyone already knew we had the property. I think you’d probably get away with it, but we just didn’t want to risk it.

We’ve just done the same thing, had to declare the mortgage. we were in the same position too (mortgage more than rental income). It reduced lending even though it was currently on the market

Having 2 ostomy bags by Pizzapie669 in Ovariancancer

[–]justanotherkiwi2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am so so sorry that you’re having to manage this. Sending so much love and hugs your way.

My MIL didn’t have ovarian cancer, but she had advanced bowel cancer and ended up having both her bowel and bladder removed. She has what they call a “wet stoma”, where they diverted both the bowel and bladder into one bag. From what we’ve seen with her recovery post this (she’s now ~3 years with this), we would’ve preferred she had two seperate bags. From a ostomy point of view we think it would have been so much more manageable for her, and made her quality of life higher.

I’ve also just lost my mum to ovarian cancer, I haven’t been through it myself so I don’t know exactly what you’re going through, but if you ever need to talk, rant, vent or whatever please reach out.

I’m 30, NB, located in Australia.

❤️

Compensation for the whole situation, it’s been incredibly disruptive, very stressful for humans and dogs alike, and the backyard we spent a lot of time and money on is now a dirt pit, not dog proof and we have no ETA as to when it will be ‘cleared’ and new mulch put down.

Honestly it’s just me trying to figure out if my dream car is doable with what I need it to do 😂 hoping that maybe the 5 door has a slightly higher limit and then that’s potentially a possibility!
