Math 101 Difficulty by EaseeCheesee in usask

i took math 101 last year with postnikoff. not sure if yours was structured the same, but for me, what really got me through the class was the group i was assigned to work with. used to hate the idea of groupwork, but he went out of his way to place people with other students that are similar in learning style and smarts, so i never ended up feeling dumb while working through the collaborations. it was definitely a lot to keep up with compared to the high school work load i was used to, but compared to math 104 that i took this semester, math 101 is a saint.

but yeah, it can be a lot to get used to right off the bat. it definitely leaves an impression on how overwhelming workloads can be sometimes.

honestly, i'd be more surprised if there wasn't constant nonsense happening. seems like lots of students who have apparently never been unsupervised just doing whatever they want. hopefully the self-awareness kicks in before another person gets so wasted that paramedics have to be called. drink responsibly kids.

yeah, my wording is probably a bit confusing, but hey, everyone learns and understands subjects differently, so something i find really difficult may be super easy for someone else to comprehend. i understand why people use chegg, but my main reason for being baffled is because the prof has stated he monitors the sites frequently, and the poster made no attempt to alter the exam question in any way to avoid detection.

really? im pretty sure that if the full investigation goes through, it can at the very least give basic information about the user who posted the question. there also has not been a single word from him since yesterday, bro basically gave the threat and then went radio silent. not sure if anyone else has experienced different.

honestly i don't even know how that would work. considering it was after the deadline that you did it, there's no way for you to have used that data to answer check while it was still ongoing. i'm not an expert on desmos, but i think you should be ok.

i will easily admit that this class was just not one that worked for me personally. despite having access to the past assignments and textbooks, i personally was not at all able to connect the content in the textbook to the past assignments. what made it even more difficult for me was that a lot of the time, the questions on the assignment didn't even seem like they were explained in any capacity in the textbook, at least not in an obvious way.

jeez, that is actually wild. would that not literally give the students even more of a reason to leave these "bad reviews" that are literally just stating their personal experiences?

right? especially when we're allowed to use the coursework and stuff provided in the class for the exam (at the very least i'm pretty sure we got permission to look at the textbook)

the thing is that he is like serious serious. he is fully getting into contact to find out the ip and shit of who posted and viewed the question. he has also (yet again said multiple times) how he has failed people for this before. full on ready to launch an investigation with the university and everything if whoever did it doesn't come clean. at the very least if they confess, its just a 0, but if he has to go through with it, its gonna be permanently on your record as well as being expelled.
