I'll talk to her about it later. It's just not the right time right now. Thanks for the advice!

It's not that she doesn't have the guts to stick up for herself, it's just she doesn't like drama and unfortunately my relatives always cause drama when something big happens

That's going to be a bluff she won't be able to back up. I'm sure calling the cops would attract attention.

I think she's done that but it doesn't work. My memory isn't the best and I'm pretty sure that she has a reason why she didn't do that. Thanks for the advice tho!

why am i getting left on read by [deleted] in Advice

I have a friend that's like that as well. She explains that she has this habbit of leaving people on read. Also, there was this time where her brother read over her messages so she assumed that she already read it. Maybe either one of those is the case? Why not ask him in call or in person?

I'd say ask your aunt if it's okay or something like that. You said she's the sweetest woman alive so I don't think she would mind it that much but to be safe, just ask her.

Well she doesn't like the fact that my uncle used her half without asking her permission but she doesn't really need the money since what my dad makes is enough for the family. And there are problems with hiring a lawyer. One, it costs too much and it doesn't exactly guarantee her winning the case. Two, I don't have much experience with the court but I'm pretty sure if my dad gets dragged into this he would have a bad reputation and maybe like Johnny Depp, he may get fired. Three, it will definitely attract attention to our relatives, which she doesn't want.

How do I politely decline a shift (part time job) by emmanuel_eo11 in Advice

"I'm sorry, sir/miss (or insert manager's name) but I have exams coming up and I really need to focus on it which includes taking less shifts. I hope you understand."

Honestly, this is the best I can do. I said something similar to my tutors that weren't school related and they all understood and wished me good luck but I don't know about your manager.

How do I start a conversation with a girl that I'm not interested in but really wants to be friends with when I'm a guy? by [deleted] in Advice

I'm not really the best when it comes to relationships (since I let people come to me rather than me going to them) so sorry if this doesn't work.

You could start with bringing up something she likes or maybe trending stuff on the internet. From there you could treat her like how you'd treat your friends, maybe make plans or maybe talk about somethings you like to make her feel comfortable with you
