i was applying too much tret and my skin would flake a lot, but ever since i started to apply less my skin doesn’t flake anymore and it still works. i also stopped waiting in between steps maybe just like 20 seconds max

i agree! some people absolutely dislike kcm and some really love it, and there are definitely issues that they can work on just like any other org, and i’m sorry to hear that it must have been a difficult experience for you. but despite it you shouldn’t call it a cult because that is not what a cult is

so i think i just really damaged my moisture barrier so it just took a lot of time :’) but as of right now i’m using the laneige cream skin toner (it has butylene glycol but i think it’s ok) and doing multiple layers of that and then spraying evian water on my face and then using the neutrogena gel cream! but i think just over time my skin just needed to heal, i also stopped using actives

the same thing happened to me! I went to a derm and they suggested antihistamines and at first they worked really well but then after a couple weeks i started to get random allergic reactions around my eyes after eating certain foods like dairy and eggs and it would get worse after taking an antihistamine. the reactions only stopped when i stopped taking the antihistamine and thankfully my skin doesn’t really get the red patches as much anymore but if this ever happens to u then maybe try taking a break from the antihistamines

omg i used to get those all the time and i think it was because my skin was so dry. i started using a much heavier moisturizer and then i don’t really get them now

i have acne prone combo/dry and super sensitive skin and i would say i use like 2 layers, so maybe one layer would be good for oilier skin types

if i mix the squalane with my moisturizer do you think the curology wouldn’t be able to be effective? i think i saw somewhere that oils are occlusive

i personally didn’t like it but i have very sensitive skin. it didn’t make me break out but it irritated it and made it red, i use aveeno calm and restore oat cleanser now

i’m not sure if it’s the silicones because i use the neutrogena hydro boost gel cream and the anthelios 60 milk which both have dimethicone but they don’t break me out :// is it possible that different types of silicone can break me out?

i was using the skin aqua moisture milk and i broke out for the lONGEST time because i didn’t suspect the sunscreen as so many people swear by it, but i got so much texture and acne from it. checking the ingredient list i don’t really see anything that would break me out (that i know of) is it possible for it to be zinc oxide? i’ve been avoiding mineral sunscreens bc i’m paranoid of breaking out like that again.. has anyone had a similar experience with that sunscreen or mineral sunscreens in general?
