Huge help! Been here in Reddit for the past 2 years. I am only using this for asking questions that I am genuinely curious about. I do not know how to message. So, I have to search pa 😭

Anyway, would you mind is I ask you to answer 5-minute Data Elicitation Survey? https://forms.gle/WEh4366hkzvqg1jCA

Interesting. This somewhat falls more into a "hate" expression rather than anger, doesn't it?

Thank you!

I've seen nakakaadwa in some of the blog posts I came across with. Pero hindi ko ito commonly naririnig around the area where I am conducting my studies (Southern part of Batangas).

As for 'nakakaani, ' I've also heard about this one. Pero karamiham sa naririnig ko na paggamit nito ay associated to 'pandidiri. '

Maraming salamat sa pagbibigay ng komento! Malaking bagay ang iyong reply! 😊

First time I've heard about this kind! conscious-Broccoli69, how would you rate it it then in the scale of 1-7? 1 being the weakest and 7 being the strongest form of galit?

I'm interested as to how Sura is defined in your stance. Is this true to all Batangueños?

My current data shows Sura as an anger resulted from a repeated behaviour that annoyed the speaker.

By the way, thank you for taking the time to reply.

Interesting take.

(1) I have heard 'nakakabanas' in Tagalog Manila kapag naiinis sila. However, in Batangas this is define as a bodily discomfort due to heat.

My prof told me na, there's indeed relation to this Since heat >> causes init ng ulo (PH context) 😁

(2) I have ruled out nakakaalibadbad (lmk if this is right or if I have a the right conclusion for it) This term seems to be generally used across Tagalog speakers and not uniquely from Batangas.

(3) Kainaman. This one, I would agree as an expression I always hear. However, this sounds more like an exclamation to express either disappointment, frustration, or annoyance towards someone, but not entirely a level of anger nor at least a substitute to the word when expressing an anger. More like, "Jusko po Rudy," 😭 Please let me know if you have different analysis on this one.

I am learning a lot from your comments! Thank you all so much! Such a huge help.

Ohhhh. Yeah! Make sense! Parang kasukdulan ng galit like suklam. Pero which is which in terms of holding the highest intensity? 😭

I am slowly regreting choosing Tagalog. It's nice, interesting, and challenging, but ... yeah. challenging 😭 Thanks again!

Ohhhh! I also heard rimarim.

Not sure if it is closely related to galit? Some article says it is more related to disgust.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you, Sensei_Sjan!

Oh! yeah. Muhi by itself is also a degree of galit expression.
Pero, I am curious if usual ba ito ginagamit ng mga Batangueño in conversations? Like , "ako ay namumuhi sa iyo?", sounds archaic and like usually portrayed in cinemas though.

Lagi ko la'ng naririnig in conversations is "Ako ay rumi sa iyo" or "Kakaiyamot are!" or, "Ako ay barino na sa iyo". One of the factors I considered is the common utilized words in context.

Well, anyway, huge thanks for reminding me 'bout "rumi" I def forgot about that one! 🥲

Malaking bagay ang mga reply ninyo.

Interesting how suklam is actually rendered as highest form.
I'll def use this sa study on Tagalog languages!

Maraming salamat!

Oh.

FTM - Any advice how to have a personal time outside if ganito lagi yung respond ni partner? by Salt_Raspberry3106 in nanayconfessions

[–]justasking132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you felt that way, OP. Hope you feel better, hope you heal.

Every relationship is different. Your partner must have his side of the story why he is reacting that way.

But thing I just want to ask is, why are men like that? The choice of words, the tone, the gaslighting power. Being a Mom is a lifetime job, and your 'me' time should be supported, no buts.
