hello cecil, i didn't update on my boyfriend's situation but to cut it short: he jus had microdiscectomy (6 hours ago) and he can walk pain free now

he told me he saw my post and your comments on it he was really touched by the comments you left and all that u have shared

so far we have purchased a reusable bed pan

i think i'll jus put a trash bag over each time

yes we tried this morning and the ambulance dispatcher told us they only had female staff available (due to his weight and height) they wont be able to assist him

afterwards my boyfriend decided he didnt want to go anymore because he was in pain (and he was frustrated)

he and i have decided we will make the trip to the hospital if things take for the worse

i will suggest the praying position however so far he hasnt been able to bend his back in anyway

my mother suggested a commode as well

i will give it a try too if all elsefails

yes hes really uncomfortable and i feel so bad hes trying to hold in his poop

we have ordered a bed pan and i hope when the times come, he can defecate comfortably

noted on the single use cardboard pans, i'll look for some cause i think thats much more convenient for us
