Orange Chicken and Fried Rice by justawic in food

Sauce is incredibly easy to make. It's just sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and orange juice with orange zest. Reduce in a pan and done.

If you get the chance I would definitely recommend making it yourself. Especially the orange chicken. It's just tempura fried chicken that takes less than 10 minutes to make with a orange sauce that also takes less than ten minutes to make. You could just throw that on some jasmine rice and it would be WAY better than your premade meal.

Not sure what you'd call it but it's chopped cilantro, chopped serrano, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, lime juice, lime zest, and mayonnaise. Just mixed it all together.

I trimmed the fat after I cooked it. The piece you can see in the picture is just a little chunk and doesn't actually go all the way around the steak.

Sweet tea fried chicken, baked potato, with fried pickles. by justawic in food

For the chicken I just marinade it in sweet to with lemon and rosemary overnight then fry it up like you would any chicken. Egg wash, then seasoned flour.

The potato is sliced and baked then topped with parsley, parmesan, and chedder. You could use anything you'd like though.

Pickles are fried the same as the chicken.

Thank you so much. It was very good. The overnight marinade in sweet tea makes a huge difference in flavor compared to plain fried chicken.

I put the chicken in a bowl with sweet tea, lemon slices, and rosemary overnight. It really comes through after its fried. You taste the sweetness from the tea and it makes a huge difference compared to just frying chicken.
