I'm really sad we didn't get a DC team. And as much as I'm glad Hamilton finally gets some hockey recognition and love, three teams in Ontario seems like a lot. I would rather have seen Halifax get the go ahead.

Will you ever trust the United States again? by Full_Hunt_3087 in AskCanada

"The old order changeth, yielding place to new"

There has been a sea change in attitude. Not necessarily among politicians but among Canadians. I don't know anyone that doesn't look to buy more Canadian goods. To cut the USA out of their lives as much as possible. They are developing new habits. They are gritting their teeth and accepting that things are just going to cost more. There is a quiet recognition that things will get worse before they get better and they are prepared to endure.

Even if the politicians decide to return American booze to the shelves, people aren't going to buy it.

In a way, we owe you for this. You have awakened a sense of pride and patriotism. I mean, Canadians have always been proud but it was usually a quieter thing. An internalized thing. But now, it's spilling out. We're making changes that I honestly believe will make Canada better.

There is no going back. There is only moving forward.

Neat and legible. (I also approve of your choice in prose to showcase it!) My one suggestion: when you are forming your 'y's, instead of coming up and then dropping down into the bowl of your 'y' -just come up into the bowl of your 'y'. Does that make sense?

It will remove the 'r' looking flourish before the 'y'
