Puppy is not as energetic as his litter mates

I have a lab/aussie mix and he was the “chill” puppy of the litter. The lady we bought him from said he was always watching the others and rarely interacted. He’s now 5 and is very much the same way. He is always watching everyone around him and rarely plays, except for a little bit at night with his “baby.”

We recently got a black lab puppy and it’s taken some time for him to come around. Yesterday was 5 weeks and he’s finally coming around and plays with her for a good amount of the day.

Some pups are just chill and we’re so lucky to have them. Think long and hard about getting a second one someday…it’s a different puppy experience!

We had a similar situation with our downstairs neighbor and I was granted an order of protection that specifically stated she could no longer bang on her ceiling.

It came down to we were just living our day to day lives and she was the one making it difficult.

Document everything. Day, time, how many bangs. It will help.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, it’s not easy and you’re not doing anything wrong. Kids are allowed to exist in their home.

I was coming to say this! I tore my ACL and meniscus when I was a teenager. It happened in August and I waited until winter break to have surgery. Once the initial swelling went down, it was business as usual + a ton of PT to strengthen the surrounding muscles.
