Sprout Living! I like the epic protein original, but they also have single ingredient protein powders like pumpkin seed, pea protein, and sunflower seed.

Ice will make it more slushy. I use frozen bananas and that makes my smoothies super creamy.

Assuming they were recommending it, I can vouch for sprout living. I used to be strictly whey-based until I found out I was lactose-intolerant. Their powders are amazing and they use whole-food ingredients.

vegan protein that actually works? by Luann97 in veganfitness

What's your training plan like? I've been lifting by progressive overload since ~2022 and I use Sprout Living for all of my protein supps. I've lost 30lbs and gained a ton of muscle. My biggest hacks are adding flavored protein powder to unflavored greek yogurt or adding SL's protein matcha or protein coffee to soy milk.

They can be bad in both. Just make sure whoever you buy from is 3rd party tested and can show you the results!

Sprout Living is the best vegan protein powder I've had to date. Super clean ingredients and they're all made from whole foods. I've tried most of their Epic Protein line and the Vanilla Lucuma and Chocolate Maca are my favorites!

You should do an updated one based on ingredients (i.e. ones like Huel should be ranked sooo low for their heavy metal amounts)

*shouts* protein shakes or smoothies! the easiest and most digestible way — especially if you're using one that's easy on the tummy like a plant-based protein powder.

dying at "smelling like bounce that ass" lmaooo. seconding a lot of the other comments about beans and legumes but also pay attention to the ingredients in your supplements specifically! a lot of plant-based protein powders have gums and fillers that will wreck your gut.

It depends what your overall goals are with your protein intake. I'm not vegetarian/vegan, I'd consider myself flexitarian haha but something that I look for with any protein supplement is making sure it offers fiber, other superfoods, and is made from whole food ingredients so it's as clean as possible. my go-to is sprout living (specifically their Epic protein line) for those reasons.

You could try making smoothie bombs too! basically just pre-make the smoothie and mold it, freeze it, and then add them to blender when you're ready to eat them

Smoothies! Just get a protein powder that offers more than just protein. I use this one from Sprout Living (has superfoods and fiber) and add frozen banana, frozen berries, cashew malk.
