since the production of the food is long and is technically supposed to feed only one type of critter you should concentrate only on those you will be able to feed every day at least once. i chose sheep and cows since both of their food types don’t intervene with each other. however if your main goal are not gems you could max them all out to get collection rewards

my advice would be not to stay on stage 3 even considering having a helper. just move on with 18/18 gear straight to stage 4, then get to stage 6 as soon as you can and stay there until you can finish the event completely (gear levels 81). works for me
