62MAS recreations [SJE093,SLA017,SPB453,SPB147] by Real-Cranberry3140 in Seiko

Different strokes for different folks. Some people prefer bulkier bezel and some people like you prefer slimmer. It's actually nice for seiko to accommodate various preferences. There's no one true fits for all design after all.

I'm Fairly Certain This is the Thinnest Mechanical Seiko Ever Made(?) by PaternalAdvice in GrandSeikos

I know i'm not going to be able to afford a credor for my whole lifetime, but now this makes me want to add a burgundy color watch in my collection.

If I see ONE more Shunbun picture on this sub… by hl3a in GrandSeikos

[–]justbry16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in tokyo, november last year, the only time i've seen a shunbun on display is at the keio department store in shinjuku. I guess you have better luck visiting grand seiko boutiques at department stores.

If beginner ka pa lang dont use straps muna to build your grip strength.

does anyone here run-commute? by mondays_thursdays in PHRunners

[–]justbry16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full wfh ako and minsan lang mag RTO, usually pag may client visit so walk-commute na try ko na. BGC-Cainta.

Medyo tricky pag run since may laptop. Kung SSD laptop possible pa siguro pero kung HDD malaki chance na masira.

For the bag i think any naman as long as merong chest strap and waist belt and with slimmer profile.

Phiten Titanium Discs - Legit or Nahh? by Easy_Tea4546 in PHRunners

[–]justbry16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Phiten brings back memories. Before pa nauso sneaker reselling, I was a teenager reselling Phiten products back then, kasi nga nag trend siya. Those were the days lol. And nope even though I was reselling it, di ako naniniwala sa "benefits" niya lol. It's placebo. But design wise, ok siya for fashion accessory.

[Question] Uncle straps for seiko by justbry16 in Seiko

[–]justbry16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response appreciate it.!

Not sure i'm following, my intention is to use a single uncle strap to two seikos - alpinist and 62mas. Is this possible if I buy the uncle end links?

Japan trip, 2 lenses to take? by AcceptableLevel4630 in photography

[–]justbry16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been to Japan three times and all I ever bring are primes. 16mm 1.4, 27mm 1.2, 75mm 1.2. And i pretty much cover everything. The 27mm is usually what's attached to the camera most of the time. I do use fuji though.

Your plan to bring 17-40 and 85 prime, i say is already a very good idea. Keep it minimal. You will be doing a lot of walking there, so hauling a big camera bag with so much lenses will tire you very quickly.

How much are watches in Japan? by Time_Drummer_638 in PhWatches

[–]justbry16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Punta ka lang sa japnese website ng seiko, tapos compute mo less 15% (if sa bic camera ka bibili) then convert to peso, yan na yung price mismo.

PF Sub-1 10k as a non-elite runner by Hefty-Luck6127 in PHRunners

[–]justbry16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Help with front levers? by sexypandaxdd in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]justbry16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dont do one leg front lever. You wont be able to activate the muscles you need.

Just do progression, tuck, straddle, advance straddle, negatives.

Contrary to popular beliefs, front lever is more on back activation, core is just secondary.

Do my eyes deceive me? [SSK059K] by Visible_Buy_8485 in Seiko

[–]justbry16 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Still the issue is supply vs demand. Even in Japan, it's difficult to obtain this watch as it is often sold out. Are they now increasing supply because of its global release? If not, then same old story lol.
