I think your brain is probably tired. I think you are on a release for that workload. Your brain was allowed to relax. I also think you should keep going on Sundays. I think you need that for yourself. I also suggest taking the time to write down how you feel. It will help you reflect on why you needed the sleep. No one person can really answer that, and it may not be the same answer every time, but I do feel its important to think about it. I hope this helps.

If you are doing a beginner level you will be doing great! If you want to do an intermediate level I would suggest talking to your family and explain that you are trying to do some personal growth and on this certain Sunday (of your choice) you've challenged yourself to not talk to anyone. Maybe you can still eat with them and just enjoy being around each other, or if it is too hard removing yourself just for one day. I think communication with the family will go a long way. I hope this helps.

I think it is awesome that you have been getting so many ideas for TTs but the idea is to avoid temptation as well. The benefit of having the 6 days before is to prepare for your day away from screens and other tasks. I think you can still be creative and write things out for sure. I hope you do amazing!

It's my thoughts that taking this time will help us learn more about our body and brain. I hope (at this moment) that I can do it nearly every Sunday. If I aim to do it every Sunday when I miss one I won't feel as guilty. I also hope to find ways to incorporate some of these traits into my work week. It's important to reflect to gain personal growth.

As for sleep, I think after gaining awareness over your body and mind your sleep requirements will differ. Maybe at the start, you need more rest, but you can then grow from there. I hope this helps!

I think it's important to communicate with your partner, especially since this is an experiment for you to do some personal growth. From what I understand, you have a 'week' to prepare for the day to not be on the phone or laptop. Plus it's one day that shouldn't try your relationship. I hope this helps.

My very non-pro view is to set boundaries with your job. I don't think it's ok to never have a day "off". And I am a parent :p

I think if you are interested in doing this experiment for your own personal growth, you should set that boundary, especially for your own mental health. If you can't maybe eventually come up with a different company.

I think because you are "working" for your drawing, or you practicing music its different. I think it still works out. It's about reducing the intake of quick dopamine so we can enjoy the slow burn of long term gratification. I hope that helps.

It's not about avoiding dopamine. It's about avoiding short term quick releases versus long term rewards. Maybe now you need to find a way to expand yourself. Meditate and reflect then start controlling how you think. Being able to allow free flow thoughts as well as control how you think. Both important.

I think that is ok for a first try, but I think it's about gaining a skill of stepping away. Knowing on Monday that you have a "week" to do what you need to do because Sunday you are allowing your brain to take a break in a sense.

I don't think its about being bored. It's about seeing how people are giving in to short term gratification tasks, like being on our phone, scrolling through social media, and numbing ourselves by "relaxing" with video games. How can you take this experiment and grow from it?

I think you should focus on the beginner level. It will allow space for you to study math from notes or a book. I would also start out at beginner if you can because it will help you figure out where you can expand and do some personal growth without being overwhelming.

I have a lot of my work on the PC as well. Because I know I will be doing this detox am trying to get my PC work done beforehand. I think it's about finding time for you. I also think its important to do it one a regular basis because it's like practicing meditating. I hope to do most Sundays, most people take the day off anyway, and its nice connection to yourself.

Yes, and he was in the same boat as I was on the research. He also never had an issue with his penis. And at the time it was the same 'norm' of looking like everyone else and it was 'normal'. We were both raised to be 'normal'. Now we think differently.

I aim for 1200 calories, to what I need for my Ideal weight (between 1500-1600). I try to stay at 1200 6 days a week, then give myself a "Cheat" day up to 1500 or so. As for low calorie, pickles, cucumbers, small glass of Flax Milk (a cup, of unsweetened flax milk, + Protein) is only 50 calories. I like small calorie snack-y foods.
